Ephindo is exploring CBM development in two key energy rich locations: East Kalimantan and South Sumatra.

According to Advance Resources International, Indonesia’s total CBM resource is estimated at 450 trillion cubic feet (Tcf), almost three times the size of the current natural gas reserves.

CBM resources for East Kalimantan are estimated at 80.40 Tcf.
Ephindo is exploring a number of opportunities in this prolific region. In the Kutai Basin, East Kalimantan, Ephindo has acquired working interests in three major blocks, with further evaluations in progress. All are sited within easy access of major pipeline infrastructure and the Bontang LNG facility.

South Sumatera CBM resources are estimated at 183 Tcf.
Ephindo’s Sekayu block CBM PSC (production sharing contract) lies in a proven hydrocarbon basin that has produced oil and gas for almost 40 years. An existing pipeline connects this area with Batam and Singapore to the north and West Java to the south.
