Kutai CBM Block
Geological surveys of the Kutai Basin indicate thick, gas charged coal seams at depths from 150 to about 1500 metres in multiple of 10-30 seams, with surface outcrops showing good coal quality, suitable for CBM development.
The block covers 563 square kms. Partnered with Ephindo in this joint operated PSC, signed November 2008, are leading Indonesian coal producer, Tanito Coal and Canadian developer, CBM Asia.
